Well, that's all positive DB! The cuts will take a bit longer to heal than normal as he is still below par but as long as you keep them clean he should be OK. Are they deep cuts? If so, you need to really scrub at them to clean them thoroughly and to keep them open - I know this sounds mad but they need to heal from the inside out. The risk otherwise is that they scab over and trap bacteria inside which then makes a very nasty sore.
I have to say (again ;D) that you have done a wonderful job with that boy DB. He's so lucky to have you!

What a difference a couple of weeks make! I'm so happy with his recovery. A big thank you to all of you for your kind words and support as I don't know how I would have coped otherwise. xx
