I would look for any nicks or knocks that he might have around that area, it might just be that in the excitement of being out he has twisted his knee beggaring about or been knocked by someone else who was. If it carries on I would get the vet.

Advice was to keep riding him as normal and see what happened about 3 weeks later it disappeared.

Trying not to panic. His knees are at the height of their water trough which is an old iron bath. My money is on him knocking it on that.
