I've discovered z-itch and its brilliant.
Brave gets really bothered by flies, resulting in bites that swell up to golf ball size every time and rugby ball size on occasion! rubbed mane and tail and head tossing. He is usually turned out in a fly sheet but still gets really badly bitten on the bits the fly rug doesn't cover. Brave borders on sweet itch, but isn't quite that bad.
I have been treating him with z-itch once a week for the past three weeks and he has stopped rubbing his tail and was turned out naked for a WHOLE DAY! with no bites and no rubbing, even hardy Dexter rubbed his last night but Brave was quite happy.
Its not cheap at £33 per bottle but worth it for the sake of his comfort

Wow, that sounds good. There are so many products out there that really don't make any difference at all that it is good to hear of something that does. He must have enjoyed being out without a rug.

I've never heard of it but that's probably not surprising I got some Flymax from my vet which seems to work OK but I shall Google z-itch and see if they deliver. ....
