Hey guys, just thought I'd post this on the off-chance in case there's any possibility that someone might want to loan a pony.
Blue (some of you may remember her as one of the ponies we 'rescued' at the same time as Faith) is an 11.0hh grey mare who is approximately 10/11 years old and is a sweetheart. She was backed quite late at the age of 7 but has since done lots of hacking and a few shows with the littlies and apparently has done quite well. Currently shod but she has good feet so would happily be barefoot. Good for the farrier and dentist. Not sure about loading as she's been in a few homes since us, although she was a superstar when we had her. Used to love jumping in-hand and would stand all day to be groomed and cuddled. Do you know anyone who might be interested? Sheffield area.
Would be looking for someone who wanted a lead-rein pony or a small first pony. Ideally asking for half of livery (about £24 per week), although any contribution would be more than welcome - every little helps!
Currently asking the hypothetical question of 'potential loan' to see if anyone would be interested in her, hence would it be viable for us to consider having her back.
Her current owner contacted us today saying that she may have to part with Blue and just wanted to keep us in the loop. This little girl is the sweetest little thing and after all that I know she's gone through, I'd love it if we could have her back but let someone little ride her. She just wants to be someones best friend
. I'm trying to find a way so that she can come home to us but my biggest issue is lack of funds and also lack of a mini-jockey!
If anyone knows of anyone who might be interested, or knows of any good places to advertise then it would all be of great help.
I just want to do right by Blue, who at the time re-homing was a necessary evil as we just couldn't keep her, but if we were to have the chance to have her back then I would LOVE to take her back and give her the forever home she deserves.
