Put my entry in for the RC Spring Hunter Trials in 2 weeks time - I'm only going to do the baby 2' class with Brave, but am thinking that if I think it is easy so will he.
Also got entry in for the Pony Club (yep thats right - going to be competing against 8 year olds and we know who will win) Pick a fence XC at the beginning of June, at each jump you can pick whether you want to jump 1'6", 2' or 2'6" or not at all with higher points for the higher fences, the winner is the one who scores the most points whilst completing the course in the optimum time.

Ha ha, I'm the expert at competing against eight year old and yes, humiliation is the word that springs to my mind.....
But it sounds like so much fun - love the idea of pick a fence. You do have a lot going on round your way, lucky thing!

I know - the first year I moved here I couldn't find anything, but now I know where to look there is something pretty much every weekend or even every day!
The GB trec championships are being held on a farm less than 10 miles from my house this year too!

Are you going to watch? Is there a class you can join (I am assuming here that you are not TREC championship level but I could be wrong ....  ) |

Brilliant. Love the idea of a pick your own fence class. I love the mini class at the HT I did recently as the tiny class is just clear round and no placings so you don't feel like you're taking on the kiddies (and beeing shamefacedly thrashed by them!!) - there were toddlers to 60's in my class!

What other sport has toddlers to 60's in the same class? One of the many great things about horses.
Hunter trials sound great FmacG- I am sure you and Brave will enjoy them a lot. Out of interest- do you really have an Air Jacket?
