had a fab hack out with H today.

went exploring up a new forestry track and the gate had been unlocked. had a 10 minute canter up the hill - took about 30 minutes to walk back down, went around 4 fields at a canter/ gallop and was out for about 2 hours in total

Like the sound of that canter!

I took Eric out this morning and he was spooky as hell. There's a big east wind blowing, which always brings bad weather, and he was very silly about tractors, of all things, and there seemed to be one in every other vineyard! Went dancing past the first one sideways and after that was all bug eyes and head up but I calmed him down eventually with some brisk hill walking
