I had a great day on Sunday. A lady at the stables lent me her horse Harley for the day. He is a lovely 5 year old piebald cob who looks just like JS (but is 10 years younger). It might sound mad to you all but it was great to get up there and muck out, do haynets and all the other chores you probably hate.
V and I had a really good hack, out for about 2 hours just pottering with a couple of blasts in there too. The sun was shining and it was one of those 'all is right with the world' days which left me with the biggest grin on my face. ;D

I still enjoy the horsey chores and sounds like you had a lovely time. Best hobby in the world on days like these!

Sounds a really lovely day. Like most of us, I do enjoy horsey chores, strange as that may seem, but when you have been absent from them for a while, they seem a huge treat! Its just hard to explain to non horsey people. I remember a friend of mine who had moved house and was pregnant and so out of everything for a while. She came to the stables one day and just went around smelling them and saying how much she had missed the smell of muck!

Doesn't sound mad to me either Kitcat! It's strange how a good hack can put that smile back on our faces! And I totally understand your chum Duckles. I love the smell of them, especially sweaty!

A perfect day. I could spend all day just pottering about at the yard.
