There were two other things that have made me happy too: on the day my nice vet came up to talk to me which pleased me very much as he has a reputation for grumpiness (but never has been with me). And yesterday I swung by the organisers to ask if they did PTV training on their course and was met with such niceness it really made my day. They invited me to join them to go to a TREC next week (sadly I can't get away).

Funny how you get used to people being standoffish and when someone is kind it really makes a huge difference.
