Whispers *I jumped this morning*
OK so it was only about a foot high but I did it. We have some logs in the field which C set up as little x-country jumps. This morning after doing a bit of schooling decided I'd give them a go - if I'm going to do the mini hunter trial in 2 weeks thought I'd better get some practice. I am just so nervous of it all. I mean, these were literally no more than raised trotting poles! But I went over once, then went back for a second go, then did two one after another. Kind of enjoyed it. Was pleased with myself for doing it. Will try and have another go tomorrow.

Well done! Sometimes it isn't the height of the jump, it's the jumping that is the thing! Try Rac's thing not nervous-exciting! You know Ed can do it. In fact she loves it, just make sure you have appropriate bit/martingale arrangement to deal with excited pony!

yay! i know the feeling - we had a walk along the edge of a field today on the horses at RS and it was quite exciting just hearing the thud of their hooves on the grass as they walked along! small pleasures and all that! ;D
