I want to the TREC in the next village on March 18 but it conflicts with a complet that the Teenager wants to do. She has already qualified for the championnats so she doesn't HAVE to do it, but it is at the super duper club owned by the département. She doesn't need me to be there and I can do the TREC on my own but it would mean putting Jana on the lorry (more expense  ) rather than me taking her in my trailer. Oh bother. |

It didn't take me long to work out that she wanted to take BOTH ponies, which would cost a fortune on the lorry and wanted me to drive them there. So yes, I am being selfish for once - and there is more to come as certain events in the family (not the teenager) have made me realise that I am not selfish enough - and have told her she can put ONE pony on the lorry. She is now taking Racaille only as she wants to see if he can qualify too. Hmmm, we shall see .....
And yes, I am now signed up for the TREC. Slightly offputting is the fact that my old club is fielding quite a lot of riders and I'm very sorry to say I am now regarded as the enemy (for leaving). All very childish but I am just going to go on my own, keep myself to myself and have fun.

Sometimes we have to be selfish- it will help the teenager stand on her own two feet.
Im sad that your old club are so stand- offish! I hate that mentality.
