with today being friday 13th do you have any or do make sure you do the same thing at shows etc for good luck i always salute single magpies,, i never wear anything new or use anything new at a show always have to wear/ use it at home first , always put saddle on before bridle, and never jump practice fence more then twice , and i have a lucky whip that i ve had for about 20 years ,

i have one of savvy's old shoes stuck to the trailer and rub that before i get on her. i always keep thing the same at shows and if i have something new then i wear it at home for a bit before i wear it competing

I always salute magpies and never walk under ladders - but I think that last one is more common sense.

i always salute magpies.. i always wear the same things for shows, nothing new too. i also never wear anything new to do my endurance with, but thats more to do with new things are sooo uncomfortable and you defo need old comfy things.

I'm not superstitious but i did have a lucky whip for years and was quite upset when I lost it (as you do). ALways wear the same socks for competitions if possible but they are incrediabley comfortable which you need when in boots all day. They won't last for ever but they are holding out well

Maybe that's where I'm going wrong wearing new stuff to a show, I've never heard that one before. I always salute magpies on their own but that's about it.
