Anyone ever done this? Horsey dentist has recommended Pete does'nt have anymore chaff or dry food. Otherwise I need to go sugar beet shopping!

I soak Murphy's Cool & Condition (Allen&Page) mix - this has sugarbeet in it and needs 5-10mins soaking time.
Also when I was giving him the hi-fibre nuts (as a hay substitute), it had to be soaked for approx 30mins, into a mushy consistancy.
What type of pony nuts did the dentist ask you to buy?

Didn't really recommend any but I am going to try Pete on some Allen and Paige fast fibre.

Prob a bit late now Sol but if you do soak the pony nuts, hot water will mush them much quicker. Otherwise leave them in soak in the morning for evening feed.
