Hi everyone,
My name is Emma and i am based in West Yorkshire. Im 37 and work in an office.
I dropped on here as i used to own Frank that Brigadier owns until i was fooled by a clever dealer:-(
(so pleased he's in a good home)
I have a registered 19 yr old Welsh section C x Hackney gelding called Woody and a registered 16 year old CB x Han called Leo. Both i have had since weaning.
My mum also has a 22 year old Fell mare. all are fighting well and do not look their ages! (or act them)
My mum was riding the week I was born so I know nothing else. I am by no means a fantastic rider but I would consider myself a natural as I am truly at home on any type of horse due to growing up with my mums pony around me.
Woody has done everything and is just taking a back seat after a busy year jumping locally in 2011. In November I got Leo back off loan so he’s my aim for local events this year. He’s a lot calmer than Woody and can do a bit of everything so dressage, XC and jumping at PC level is my goal for 2012 for Leo. He also gets bored a lot easier than woody so he’s a priority for riding.
I have some BHS exams and half way through a diploma in equine behaviour and psychology and my goal one day would be to leave the office and work on a yard. It’s time I got down and dirty again I think. Preferably before I’m 40 or thereabouts!
