Showjumping Sun 2nd Oct

Today was the first day of the RS autumn jumping league. Had a really good day. I did 3 classes - the 55cm 1 round warm up; 65cm league class and then took the plunge and did the 85cm league class! ;D

Glad i did it, it was good fun and my horse jumped his heart out for me. It was quite thrilling going over those jumps tbh lol! My first 85cm course - have jumped 90cm as a single fence or small grid before but have never jumped this height before as a course.

S really looked after me and did nice steady foot perfect rounds and was just lovely to ride.

So got three shiny rosettes and a bag of sweeties yay

Will never look at 85cm in the same way again lol!

Congrats flea that brilliant! For someone who's confidence was in tatters just about not that long ago you have conquered your fears brilliantly. I think 85cm is huge, it's almost 3ft isn't it?

I know its an achievement isnt it - when i look back i cant believe how far ive come, i never thought i would do that but always hoped i would be able to some day

Yeah, i think so, it looked huge for a while but the thing was that i was thinking that whilst my heart was hammering at the thought of it, i thought that i could do it, so i just went for it!

Sounds great flea! You are so brave, I would have been terrified at an 85 cm course. Glad you enjoyed it

Thats what i used to think FL! And if i can do it anyone can do it! ;D Ive seen pics of you jumping massive big jumps on Fire so you can definitely do it!
