I'm selling my Freeform saddle as it's been decided that it's just too long for Faith's little back .
It's an authentic Freeform Classic, shortback version, with an interchangeable 16" seat and forward girthing. It is made from gorgeous black italian leather with a wool underside - comes complete with original non-stretch black leather stirrup leathers! I might even be tempted to sell my Equitex and HAF pads that go with this saddle .
The saddle has big knee rolls for added security (good for those sideways spooks) and has plenty of D-rings to attach breastplates/saddle bags to. It is flexible over the withers/back and moulds to fit both horse and rider as it warms up, and the more you ride in it, the comfier it gets! I'm actually really sad that I'm having to say goodbye to this saddle because it's gorgeous, really comfy and those big knee rolls have saved me going out of the side door on quite a few occasions!!! It is quite traditional in appearance (as treeless saddles go) so if you wanted to compete in it then I bet you'd get away with it.
I bought this saddle back in 2008 from Goldfinch Equestrian, costing over £800 new. It has been used very rarely, cleaned regularly and has been covered up with a ride-on saddle cover pretty much since it arrived (so no scratches or worn patches on the seat)...the only bits of the saddle that shows use are the girth straps and a few hairy bits on the woollen underside, but other than that it's pretty much 'as new'.
I'm looking for about £600 for this lovely saddle but sensible offers will be considered.
Pictures available on request.
