Mature older pony! Fire seems to have finally mellowed *touch wood* and we have been enjoying gallops on a really long oil seed rape stubble field. Trotting/cantering out then whipping around at the end and galloping completley flat out towards home, and the lovely thing is when we reach the end, just give him a whoa and he comes back to a walk then is happy to plod home on a long rein at 16/17 he just seems to know the drill...which I appreicate having fallen off Trav last Saturday

he does seem to stay quite fit, he sees the physio regualry tho, and don't tell him but when he was younger the vet told me he was likely a couple of years older then what his passport said! *but la la la I didn't hear that, hes not aloud to get old* Although when the vet first laid eyes on him, he said he would quieten down by the time he was 20

lol he may just be! I was doing some little jumps on Trav, and one was a row of little crates and we had jumped it the week before but he took a huge leap over it and I was to far forward and went out the side door! It was my own stupid fault I got back on though and he did it nicely the next time. It was a very strange sensation, I've never fallen off another horse except Fire (although that is around 25+ times!, I was bucked off one other but landed standing beside him with reins still in my hands ;P. Another welsh arab! ) It didn't hurt as much as a Fire fall and seemed a bit in slow motion.
