Can you have a really tight running plait instead of individual for dressage? Not that you can see it very well from photo. Attachments:

Plaits not compulsory for dressage, just being neat and tidy! Long plait is fine don't forget you light coloured gloves.

Running plaits are fine and look very smart. Tordi has quite a long mane and I hate plaiting; he's done dressage with a long plait, conventional plaits and no plaits! And as Sol says don't forget your white gloves! x

My instructor said you should do a running plait for dressage (if mane too long for individual ones) as the judge wants to see the neck. Not comulsory but gives a better overall impression

That looks really neat, I can never get them to stay along the crest they always fall away as I go on and Harry's got too much bloody mane in general

If you can do them nice and tight you can manipulate them to improve the look of the neck too (secret cheat shh)
