Dont get me started on the reasons behind it but my next door neighbour is getting rid of her horse because it wont do what she wants it to do and is buying a 2year old to replace it. she is a Scottish Sports horse 15- 15.2hh and is very very pretty. now my neighbour is scared of her because she reared with her once... H has ridden her after she hasn't been worked for a week (well she hasn't been worked at all but thats another story) and said that her strop was only half as bad as one of Chompy's... now the bad points she hasn't done anything or gone anywhere in the last 9 years (she is 14ish) T doesnt hack out, or jump or really ride her at all. She colics and weaves (but is fed straight oats - why? ) this new 2yr old will arrive in the next 2 weeks and if a new home is not found T will have her put down, which is harsh but better than being a burden on a rescue centre or end up in a meat wagon... So if you know of anyone who might be interested in a project horse, companion (or unlikely brood mare) let me know. I'm not saying I agree with decisions taken but if a new home can be found all the better and if she is actually advertised something might come up...

OMG what are some people like and like a two year old is going to be an angel of course. Poor mare, nice of you to make the effort to find her a home, hope something comes up. What about H, would she be interested I seem to remember you mentioning her and another project horse a while back.

Have you tried putting her on project horses? It's only a fiver. Good luck
