Got out again this afternoon. Dodged the raindrops. Pete was a superstar, as usual. Looked after my pathetic lack of confidence. He is so kind to me. Interesting to think about our 'bond' though as we were going along. There were a couple of moments when he looked to me for reassurance and of course without realising it I was there for him. Scary bicycle lying on the floor. They are not scary when being ridden! Also a couple of naughty dogs made worse by shouty owners! I love my horse!

It'll come Sol, be kind to yourself! It sounds like Pete is being kind to you too: a look at a scary bike but he didn't do anything terrible like running away?

aww bless him - its all part of it - you will learn to trust each other. Also, its the scary things that in fact build up your confidence because the 'what ifs' get fewer!. You see something scary and he is fine - next time it wont be scary! x
