I know we can't complain the weather in the south of England has been so dry this year. But! The rhing is I never know if Pete is getting cold out at night when it is rainy. I got up early to go and check on him this morning (missed breakfast!) He was fine nice and toasty but I worry about his thin summer coat.

Faith has been sleeping outside these past few days and I've been the same - worried about her every time the weather changes (too hot, too cold, annoyed by the flies, frightened by the wind...you the get the idea), but of course, when I go and check on her, she's standing under the trees with her friends or stuffing her face looking absolutely fine!!! I know I worry too much, but it's just sods law that if I don't worry then something will happen without me knowing!!!

Has he got any shelter in the field? It is so changeable right now but despite the rain I don't think the temperatures dropping too low. That said sounds like it's blowing a hooly outside right now! Mine can go in if they like - but rarely choose to, only using the stables when it's hot. If you're really worried you could always put a no fill rainsheet on overnight - the later you can put it on the better.
