We had a lovely day there yesterday, I had booked in to do the 15.5 mile pleasure ride on Tess and since neither of my regular companions could make it we decided to take Rio. We weren't sure how much she would be able to do but her sharer booked her in for the 9.5 mile pleasure ride and was going to see how it went and cut it short if she struggled. Much to both our surprises she was fine, went round in style and doesn't seem to have suffered too much for it.
I was meant to be riding Tess round with another friend, but they were late and I couldn't raise them so I ended up doing it alone, which was fine, Tess was brilliant. We managed 10.6 Km per hour which is better than last year and she seems to have come through it fine too.
