Glad you had a good day. I don't ride in Sherwood Pines, as have immediate access to Sherwood forest whereas it's a fair hack (and roads) to get to Sherwood pines but It's only just up the road from me!

Well done Me and my friend have been meaning to Box up to sherwood forest as walked there the other week and its really nice. Of the 4 years i have lived so close to the forest, ive only just been!

Sounds like a great outing, would love to do a Pleasure ride. Endurance would be fun too. Probably need a comfier saddle!

Get yourself one of those sheepskin seat savers sol, very comfy! Or did you mean for the horse??
Looks a lovely venue- I did one round there-ish a while back- it was a really lovely ride- great fun!

No I did mean me! Sheepskin? Any recommendations? I think those Heather Moffat ones are a bit bulky.

Yep, another HM seatsaver user here, we ride for hours at a time and I'm always comfortable. Also good for schooling position and added stability in some saddles.

i was goin to go for the merino wool one from robinsons. Merino is suppose to be the softest wool. And quite cheap from robinsons too

I think someone on here mentioned that merino wool involves quite a bit of cruelty to the sheep/lambs before the wool is taken...can't remember who said that or what exactly happens, but I've been avoiding merino wool on principal ever since.
