We are so lucky at this new yard, we have moved fields to 'help' one of the other liveries getting the grass down in their field. One of her ponies is a bit prone to laminitis. Poor Pete and Barney being used as lawn mowers! How lucky are we?

Its good to have plenty of pasture, Im swapping and changing all the time to keep it down, bit worried the ponies will get really fat so have invested in grazing muzzles just in case!!!!Its nice to see Basil getting good grass, turned his poo sloppy though he is getting used to it now!

I'll have to post some pics of ours - in one field I am hoping to get cut for hay - its up to my waist in very lush green stuff and in the rest it is not as lush but is taller than my knee.
Grazing muzzles all round when I can find one big enough to fi Chompy's super sized face.

The back half of my field is really long too. But rose refuses to eat in a muzzle. Was thinking of asking some other liveries if they want to munch it down a bit. Might get some evils of Rose if i do that lol

Blimey. Mine is knee high to a grasshopper still. The side we fertilised is very green and getting going but the half they're on isn't doing much - though with the recent rain we've had a flush and I've still hed to restrict their area further as they're both doing too well on the little thats there! So theres clearly something coming through.
