went for a nice hack put in the rain today and all was going well until we were nearly home.
When one of the neighbours drove past in a car that clearly needs its brakes seeing to as it was making a horrible scrathing sound.
Now this neighbour never leaves enough room and at the noise Brave who was behind Chompy swung his quarters in and walked backwards into the car as it drove past. Amazingly he appeares to be absolutely fine although has lost a bit of confidence. He wouldn't take the lead initially as we continued home and skipped past parked cars looking at them suspiciously. and had 2 cars go past but both very wide and very slow so he was fine with them. We still had 1.5 miles to go so walked the rest of the way with just a short trot and he seems 100% OK but will keep an eye on him for the next day or two.
For once I put his back boots on for the hack - usually I dont bother and boy am I glad I did.
