We have been buying Hoof Moist for the boys as their hooves are ridiculously dry. I was telling Scatty when we visited and she said aqueous cream does the same job over £2 cheaper a tub! We put it on once a day mainly round the coronet band. My farrier very keen for us to keep using it.

My farrier said vaseline or cheap petroleum jelly will work too.

Glad it's working Sol. I'm yet to get a tub - doh. But my farrier said anything like that, aqueous cream, baby lotion (not oil) anything that will moisturise basically.
