We are getting a puppy!! He's an eight week old Siberian Husky x Labrador so we are in for a lot of trouble with a capital TR but we are very very excited. Off doggy stuff shopping tomorrow for some toys and food. Will upload photos on Sunday as I am on an shifts that mean I won't see him until then. We haven't had interest in a dog since Pudding died and he's the first one we've seen and said "we want that one". He's got some big paws to fill but I think he'll cope.

Thats really the reason we got an energetic dog so that we can go on long walks especially now me and my brother have left college and are working part time and my dad is working regular hours as well. When he's old enough he'll be getting three walks a day plus going to the ponies with us and playing with various toys that I shall be spending hundrends of pounds on. If we can't tire him out no one can lol. Plus the beach is a 10 minute walk from us as well as having masses of dog walking near us . I keep wanting to dance around the room i'm so ridiculously excited.

That's really exciting! I love huskies and I love labradors so getting a cross between the two would be amazing!!! You're right in that the little fella will be VERY energetic but if you're up for that then I'm sure he'll love living with you . You do realise though that because your new puppy pal is my favourite-ist breed ever that I will NEEEEEED regular photo updates . Good luck with him. I look forward to the photos . * btw, when does he arrive?

He arrives Saturday morning, we want to give him time to settle in before bed time but i'm on the overnighter so will be in bed when he arrives . I fully intend on making up the cuddle time the day after though . Believe me you will be sick of the photos by the time i'm finished. We're trying to think of a name so all ideas are welcome , we're thinking Bailey at the minute but that might change.

Been shopping this morning for food and toys. He's now got two or three cuddlies, a load of tennis balls, training treats, food and water bowls, he's having Puddings old bed and he's having sunshines squeaky carrot because Sunshine can't be trusted with it. I get the feeling he's going to be a spoilt doggy. Even better, as I am off work this week as am on study leave and not at work I am in charge of him monday, tuesday and thursday morning whilst everyone else is out, so I will have a puppy helping me revise . Even more excited now.
