Got up this morning and it was only a wee bitty breezy so decided to take Curly out of the safety of the fields. One of the other liveries offered to long rein out with me as her horse ,although backed , is a baby so still gets long reined. he has been up the woods both ridden and long reined so he was the experianced one! we went out the yard onto the single track road and of course as soon as we appeared so did half of Inverness in their vans and their old clapped out motors with roaring exhausts! however although he was a bit on his toes he just stayed in at the side and kept walking while the experianced horse danced about. well proud I was. ;D we went into the local woods and met dog walkers and some really scary bikes! the cyclists were very good and stopped until curly went past as by this time Curly was leading the way since the other horse had declined to go first. by the time we got back to the yard I had a very tired boy but I could not be prouder of how he went striding away out front like a big boy!! getting ready to go following on behind his pal taking the lead!
