Im thinking of doing work experience or volunteering in the cultural heritage sector over the summer, specifically stately homes and public records. So this would come under the national trust probably and PRONI.
I was speaking to one of these organisations at Balmoral Show and they said to write a letter. Do you think this would be the best way to get in contact?
If so, what would you write?
Thanks!

Flea, I used to work in partnership with the National Trust securing volunteer jobs for adults with learning disabilities. Not that I'm saying your in that category ;D but its the same process for all.
As off on maternity leave, I don't have access to my contacts (and its a different area too) but usually all you had to do was contact them by phone and they will post you out the necessary application form (perhaps you could get it on-line?). I'd get on the ball pretty quickly as they can be pretty popular. The usually pay for expenses i.e. travel
