Hacked over to the riding school today for a lesson. Pete good on the hack over takes about forty minutes. We have to go past a campsite which was unusually quiet due to a wedding on the tele. He was great bearing in mind he hasn't really schooled since January. Worked on some shoulder in and leg yield in walk and trot. Very pleased with him, he tried hard as always, then we moved up to canter! He flew round the school like a loony! I was a bit scared TBH. Not sure if it was a coincidence but RI asked me to try again using my outside seat bone as she said it he kicked out with his outside hind! Spooky! Managed a more controlled canter then and felt less scared. Finished there and hacked home. He was pretty hot during the lesson, but cool by the time we were back. He was a really good boy on the way back too. Very happy with him. Two hours fifteen minutes in total in the saddle, catching you up Rac! ;D
