Managed to hack out on the boys yesterday and today. The weather has been lovely here, really warm and sunny. So both days we have left it til after 5pm to ride.
Yesterday we went to the stream and let them have a nice long drink. Barney has to stick his lip in the air! Pete likes to wuffle around in the water. Very cute. We had a couple of little canters even though the ground is getting quite hard.
Today we went along the railway line nice and relaxed just slopping along in a very relaxed manner, lots of chatting bit of giggling about my friends love life! She has a new man in her life!
All you could ever want for a relaxing pleasant afternoon.
On the way back I practiced slow trot and slow canter, he can do it if I make him! He was sweaty and glad of a sponge down when we got home.
Popped them back in the field for the night, perfect.
