While we are all waiting to hear about Fi's baby, here's the latest adventures of Pete and Barney.
Had a nice ride yesterday afternoon through the woods, over a little tiny jump. Barney very frisky and up for all the canters.
Today we decided to go a lot further. Inspired by Rac's Rambling!
We left at 9.15am and it took an hour to get to the huge farmers fields we call the'gallops'. First stretch of cantering we were side by side, boys very keen but in control-just. We then worked on trot to walk a few times before having another canter.
This one was more sedate and control I would say was ours!
Last bit we cantered was fast but not too fast, Pete was toatally up for all of it even though they are really not very fit.
The walk/trot/canter home took another hour or so. We got back about midday with tired ponies! A great days riding. ;D
