I was hopeful that saddle would fit Pete so I could leave it at the yard. I can't risk my leather one there as I don't think the insurance would pay out if it was stolen. Am I mad considering buying a weekday saddle and saving my leather one for weekends? I will have to have a new synthetic one 'cos not confident to buy a second hand one. I suppose it will still be quite an expensive item.

Could you keep your leather one in your car? I did this with P's old one as it was virtually brand new when I got him.

That is what I do at the moment. It gets so hot in there though even today, it's too warm really. Wonder how much harm it will do? Just booked a consult to try a thorowgood. ;D

erm 6... and only 2 ridden horses... although I do still have two with the saddler up for sale and one that needs to go on ebay...
