This weekend's hacks.

This weekend we went out both days and had two fun rides. saturday, we explored the far end of the disused railway until you can walk no more. Had a lovely canter with only slight scary moment at a low level branch. Ont he way back Pete got a bit quick but I was able to slow him with the help of my trusty gag snaffle. Today, we went to our old stomping ground the 'little woods'. Pete seemed a little concerned when we turned away from the route back to the old yard, think he wanted to visit! We had a canter up the steep sand track on the way back and Pete did a massive spook in canter at a pole on the floor! Luckily I stayed on. Barney thought it was a race and got very excited. They were sweaty but tired and ready to go home after. Went to a second hand tack sale on the way home, loads of dirty expensive tat! Didn't buy anything!
