why are men/lads so confusing? if a relationship isnt working for both people then surely it is best to call it a day and say you have tried but it didnt work? but no, it would seem not in the good old world of bishop butlins.

it wasnt working between me and my (now ex) boyfriend, it just felt like we were friends with benefits ( ) so i let him down gently on friday night and he looked like a little puppy that had just been told off which made me upset and feel really guilty and made me question whether or not i was doing the right thing and he has been going round college slagging me off to his mates saying i was using him and it doesnt take over a month to know if you liked someone or not - it also takes more than a couple of weeks to know of you love someone if you ask me. i am actually really annoyed by it

sounds like he is somewhat immature, what you have done is very sensible and and adult way of looking at things. Don't worry they do grow up eventually!

Guys mature much later than girls - he'll grown up eventually hun. Like Fi says, it sounds like you've handled things very sensibly so I wouldn't let his silly antics bother you too much
