I hate it when he does it. I guess they get fed up of hay, I have been spoiling him with horsehage too. He obviously prefers the HH. Any thoughts?

Mix the hay with a bit of the HH if you have any left maybe? If he is hungary enough he will eat it - remember they don't need need as much hay generally as haylage as haylage is of course high in water content (not sure how the bagged stuff works though)
