After last weekend being such a wash out, weather-wise, we were determined to ride both days of the weekend if possible. Yesterday it was wet underfoot in the woods, Barney was sinking quite a bit bless him. Managed an hour out though and then kept them in as it was so wet in the field. Today, so much nicer out. Decided to stick to the roads and try to find our way to the common, which incidentally is where our vets is too if we ever need to hack there. Boys were happy to explore a new route. Found our way easily enough, they were a bit joggy on the common so we stayed in walk. It was lovely to be out not cold or wet. Happy horse owners ;D ;D ;D. Able to turn them out after too, so all good.

Sounds great. All seems to be going really well with you and Pete. I did ride out myself today although conditions were pretty bleak - dark with biting east wind. Yesterday was mist and fog and yes I rode as well. Some sunshine would be nice -

Fi - I haven't made it back to Edinburgh since November. The snow kinda put paid to any plans - the last thing they needed in the depots was me asking silly questions (I just did it over the phone instead ) Now it looks like they are changing my job for 3 months while someone else is off for an operation. Whilst I may be the obvious person to do year end as I did it last year I had big plans for getting on with things in the Northern region. Ah well. I will get to meet you and the boys I hope. You will have Mini-Fi by the time I get there!
