oh boy my butt will be sore tomorrow went out for a 2 hour hack with my friend on her lovely Connie- he is a star so well behaved and nice to ride. ;D We took it easy as her horse is not fit and so lovely walk rounbd a beach side forest - all sandy tracks and rolling hills - we intended doing the beach but tide was right in - full moon and all that. so hopefully will go back in a few weeks but oh my giddy aunt are my thighs a bit sore!

Sol has the right cure... I am now totally out of the saddle as I simply cant get off... so god knows how I will feel when I finally get back on.

Amazing that you are not sore. Obviously you didn't work hard enough he he. Fi- I am sorry that you are out of action - but a very honourable discharge I think. When are you due back in the saddle?

To be fair it was just walking and trotting! muscle memory though comes into I suppose.
I think we should run a book on how long after the baby is born it takes Fi to get back on!!!
I am thinking hours rather than days!!

Duckles - Sproglet is due to put in an appearance in 4 weeks time today... as for being back in the saddle it will be as soon as it doesn't hurt... (fingers crossed no stitches!!!)
I am desperate to do some proper riding - going for a walk doesn't satistfy the urge anymore and as I said before its not the getting on or the riding but its almost impossible to get off!

Fi - hope you have no stitches and I bet you will be back very soon after the event. If spoglet is 2 days early, its my birthday. About the getting off - I can understand the physics of it so to speak. Must be so fraustrating especially when your boys are in top form (judging by the photos in the other threads)
