i failed my driving theory test today - again and i cant afford another one and there is no way my parents can so the whole pass test and get car to be totally independant plan has gone out the window until i can afford it.
i went into work for all of two hours to "cover what we expect to be an extremely busy lunchtime period" what did i do - twiddled my thumbs for two hours.
got home and went upstairs to read my book whilst lying on my bed and fell asleep and didnt wake up till nearly five.
i am seriously worried that there is something wrong with me, i am always really pale all of the time, really tired and very emotionally up and down despite being on medication t help this. i had blood tests done as the doctor thought that i had gone anaemic again but they came back all fine. the other day i had a really strange experience as though i was having a fit and shaking uncontrollably, when this sensation had gone i felt really sick and dizzy for about two hours afterwards and it is all really beginning to get me down.

Oh poor you, you're having a tough time of it at the mo. Hope you're pestering your doc to get them to find out what's the matter with you. Don't let them fob you off with lame diagnosis such as 'its just a virus'. You wouldn't put up with it if it was your horse!!
Sending some karma to hopefully make you feel better!
Damn, it won't let me right now, so will do it later.

Hi Jen, gosh being seventeen is hard- it really really is- I hated being a teenager- theres just too much going on. Dont set such a store on one thing- your driving test is important to you but you are not life dependant on it- in fact it gets harder once youve passed it because all your friends will bug you for lifts etc. Enjoy your youth and your horse and dont be in such a hurry, then things can happen at their own pace and at the right time! Brig
ps I was having dizzy spells recently for no reason whatsoever- i really do think there was a virus going around, still ask your doctor to check it to make sure. But virus thingys are tricky little mud suckers!

Big hugs... Now take a deep breath and think this deal through, you will get through this. You have a load of friends on here and I am sure your family are right behind you. You will get the cash together and you will take another test and you will pass. Its hard to feel crap and handle all that disappointment but remember to big yourself up, how many people never even get as far as a test? You passed the theory and you got to the stage of being ready to take the test, it wasnt your time yet but it will be. End of lecture now have another hug...

Hun I was very simliar to you some years ago and I went back to docs time an time again being fob off with " its a virus" Eventually was seen by consultant - Ihad had a virus which i recovered from but left me with ME ( cronic fatique syndrom). I was exhausted all the time sometimes not able to move and my muscles hurt all time. But understanding what was wrong helped me! Go to health shop and ask them what they advise. And pester your docs. I have recovered from it but sometimes have relapses if get totally knackered. But hey life is good
Big big hug hun but you will come through this xxxxx

Poor you Funki. Now wonder you feel desperate, you're physically below par. Do, as everyone has said, get it all checked out and don't let them fob you off. As for the driving test, well, it's disappointing but you'll pass it another day soon. And you'll quite forget that you were ever miserable about it!

Hi Funkie;
I'm sorry you're feeling like crap and definitely get it checked out by your doctor. You're saying that you wish you were back at school so it sounds like it was a very positive thing for you. So you might just be going through the 'is that all there is' phase.
We get all excited, happy, energized when something special is happening. For example, Christmas, holidays, a big party, going to school, coming home from school. Our bodies aren't made to handle this type of euphoria for any length of time. It's the fight or flight when our bodies are infused with massive amounts of adrenalin to help us cope with the crisis.
At some point, usually just after the happy event, the body stops producing the excess adrenalin and you experience a let down.
Just treat yourself with kindness and understanding and know that this to will pass.
