Got to yard at 6.15am, gave ponies a section of hay each. Picked up all their poo. Had a chat with other early bird livery. 7pm, put boys in field, they seemed happy enough. Will go back at 1pm to finish mucking out and check on them. All good on the DIY front. Amazingly I have had Pete two years next month an in that time I have never had to 'do' him before work! Today was a first.

Hooray! I can't believe it's been almost two years already. You two have come so far , and now you can 'do' him yourself you can come even further! If I remember rightly, the early morings will tire you out for a week or two and then they just become part of your daily routine, and if on the odd occasion you are offered a lie-in, you'l wake up about your normal time anyway and wonder what on earth you should do with yourself!!!
