I've notice for the last week or so that the paddock has some patches of a sort of red grass/ferny type thing. I've never seen anything like it before. I'm guessing its some type of weed grass as unfortunately the field got overgrazed in winter by someone using that side. Wierder thin is when I went poo-picking at the w/e I walked through it and a cloud of spores/steam/some sort of white stuff ?? came out of it when I kicked it. Anyone seen anything like this before? I'm a little worried cos theres quite a lot of it.

Cant think what that can be? Can you post a picture? I vaguely remember seeing something that produced a white fungas type cloud but its so long ago I cant really remember.
the weather is so bizarre wouldnt suprise me if we start seeing cacti soon! brig

I will try and get a piccy. I've never seen it before. Just hoping its not poisonous or giving off bad spores - theres too much of it to be able to section it off.

There is a meadow grass species which has red pollen, but I'm blowed if I can remember which one it is!
