Its a Mark Todd, optional flash. Which is sitting in my grooming box! Comes in this lovely oak bark colour or a light tan, or black. Lovely soft leather, crank noseband and elevator style on top of his head. Very pleased with it. Only thing I am not sure of is the rubber reins. Might have to change them they are very chunky.

Very nice bridle Sol. Hope you spentt two hours oiling it!! I like rubber reins, and I think you might too when you get used to them. They are less likely to slip than leather ones especially in the rain.

yeah they doo look pretty chunky! maybe they are just too wide - child size is 1/2 inch, and then adults have 2 widths: 5/8 and 3/4 inch.

He looks fabulous in his stunning new bridle. He really is lovely. About the reins, I love the bio ones - I think they are easier to hold. Didn't know about the different widths for adults Flea, I go for childs anyway!

lovely! I cannot ride with thick reins - I always have plaited leather 1/2 inch - I just feel I cant feel the mouth with enough sensitivity with thick chunky rubber reins.! I actually like continental reind if I feel I need more grip - so old fashioned me!

If by continetal reins you mean the webbing with leather ridges round them - I am all for burning them...ever tried riding a strong/gassy horse with them...murder on the fingers! Also I feel they make me want to hold my reins on a certain ridge and often I ahve found that the reins/ridges are not idenbtical hence they make you[me] want to ride with an uneven feel.
