Yup and yeah I think so...not so keen on them anymore (said they have a 'self-adjusting gullet' with 'hinged plates' embedded in saddle....pinching is what will happen, me thinks). Am still on the look out for a decent, cheap-ish treeless saddle for when I can start riding again (tbh, I think I might start off riding bareback anyway...more fun and less weight/stress on Faith's back. Only downside to bareback is I have no extra support when she vertically rears! But hopefully she won't be doing that because she won't be in pain (fingers crossed)). Not even fussed about it being 'traditional' anymore because realistically, when are we ever going to be anywhere near a show ring....hardly ever. And when we are, I'll get a traditional one then! For now, we'll go with comfort and just forget about style

like your thinking spotti, savvy hated her leather saddle the day i changed to synthetic was the best day ever she loves her saddle it's easy on her back and easy on my bum! i swear the leather one rubbed half my bottom away.

do we have any pics? my friend had a hi-lite saddle, it was very very light, like a wintec but lighter, and was fairly comfy. it didnt pinch but i dont think could change the gullet, but got a better fitting one now anyway x

i know i rave about them way too much but in the long run treeless does work out cheaper!
think how ofter you 'should' have your saddle checked/adjusted, there is none of that with a treeless
**come over to the darkside spotti** hahaha

Becca, I am trying...I'm just poor and all the saddles I've looked at are expensive!
It's looking like bareack will be the norm for a while...
