First of all, is there a difference between a tweed and a hacking jacket or is it the same thing? Any recommendations of brands that do them at as low a price as poss? Not really fussed on the look of them as long as they fit nicely. Or any other suggestions? Thanks

The only thing i was thinking with ebay was that i couldnt try it on... :/ but then again theres not much to try on in the shops here anyway.
Do you think they would let you return a second hand one if it didnt fit?

I got a RH Mears on e bay for bargain price - it was not as fitted as I wanted so went to a dress maker who altered it to fit me perfectly.
There are many types - you can get one coloured ones normally brown or grey, you can get small checked with more than one colour or large checked ( which is what i fancy for next season!) which has base coloured large checks and one colour thread running through it.
just browse and see what takes your fancy.
Oh and if you get one off e bay and don't like it you can sell it again !
