Thought we were going to esacpr the white stuff as not had any Thur/Fri but woke up to this!
It's only flippin November for Heavens sake...

i thought we were goin to get away with it too! but none of my roads at all have been gritted even the main road to the motorway inc the slip road! so getting to work today was interesting at 5.30! but at the yard hardly had any snow.

I refuse to go outside as i would like to stay upright and not redislocate a hip. However it does mean that i have a choice of porridge or stale bread in the way of food :/ the snow isnt too bad if it is fresh as there is plenty of grip for my crutches but when it has been walkedon or melted before freezing over it is lethal as ivery nearly found out will try and get a pictureof a snowy bishop tomorrow as its a bit dark now

we have good 4-5 inches but the issue now is it is freezing rock hard.

We've got some on the top of the Luberon! But only sleet at our level.

Haff, it's good to see pix of your boys in their rugs, it sadly confirms something I have suspected since I first put on Paco's rug at the w/e - I don't know how but he seems longer this year and his WB seems a bit short No, I haven't muddled it up with R's (who's now living in the Alps, rug-less but furry).

loads of snow with me - its up to my knees and more coming down - slight problem is that my hay delivery cant get here and I am running out fast, cant turn the boys out as there is no a blade of grass in sight and I cant afford any wastage until the hay comes

Think we are officially catching up with you now Fi, it hasn't stopped snowing in last 24 hrs and we now have between 2 and 3 foot of the flippin stuff. Neverseen so much in my life before!

Up to my waist at the poor boys, had to dig them an area outside field shelter to stand in/hay on as they were struggling to wade around in it. No pics of boys as didn't take camera but a few of at at home. Really wish it would just stop...

think ours is thawing tbh. we havent had much snow since monday although school is closed again today.

We've got a good foot of the stuff, college has been closed so people can get home cos we're due a blizzard this aft. The ponies are loving it though Sunshines having a ball!!
We fed Chicken this morning but she decided to stay out in the snow rather than go in her hut but all the birdies in the garden are in the little house above their feeders .

well this is all the snow we have had over the last 24hrs! 5.5inches and still goin.
