Clean for clipping

Eddie is having her first clip on Saturday morning ;D
Joanne is doing it for me as I haven’t got any clippers yet. I need to get her as clean as possible with as little grease as I can. Only problem is, I’m not able to go down tomorrow evening otherwise I would hot towel her but can’t ask YO to do that for me!! So I’m only going to have an hour or so Sat morning (she’s being done at 8 am!!) Any ideas what I can do to get as much grease out without getting her wet? Will a thorough groom with a flick and body brush be OK?
Or if I hot towelled her tonight and rugged her up tomorrow to keep her clean do you think?

give your grooming brushes a good scrub and dry them out overnight on the radiator. then give her a really good groom, especialy with a body brush and a metal curry comb - i would say to concentrate mostly on the body brushing. Then could you hot towel her on saturday morning after a quick groom with the body brush. is she stabled? i would stable her overnight to keep her as clean as poss.

Yeah Flea I think thats all I can do. Can't really do it Sat morning as she's being done at 8 am so would mean really early start to ensure she was dry. She is stabled overnight.
Sol she's going to have a trace clip with her head left on, or maybe just under her chin off.
