Yes I know I'm sad but did anyone else see this tonight. I have actually been shaking for the last half hour because of this. For 1 I am petrified of railway crossings in any form and the chance of them malfunctioning scares the living daylights out of me ( we have a railway crossing literally 2 mins walk from my work on a bend where neither trains or people can be seen it's foul smelling poopy scary). My DI used to tell me how they were the safest things on the road but I still almost stop whenever near one to make sure. To show that on TV did really freak me out. Bloody hate railways. I'm gonna stick to Don't tell the Bride much safer.

Can't say as I watch Emmerdale, it's usually a bit boring, but this actually sounds like something is happening in that little old village! That makes a change!
Sorry to hear about you and railway crossings, but good on you for slowing down in the car anway...some people just zoom across praying they'll make it before the barriers come down! Now I don't know about you, but as a frequent train-user I know that the barriers come down a good 10-15 seconds before the train actually reaches them, but in that 10-15 seconds you're supposed to move out of the way...not dash out in front of the oncoming train! Do people not realise that moving barriers signal an oncoming train? I'm guessing those that dash across either don't or don't care. Silly people.
Anyway, rant over. Back to emmerdale now (or don't tell the bride - 'tis indeed a much safer option)
