I have brown johddy boots and have just bought some long black ones.No reason for the brown boots - they were second hand so cheaper when I bought them. Need some new ones and would probably normally buy black out of preference but as I now have brown chaps I'll prob stick with brown.

I always go for black but only wear short boots, two pairs of which are brown because they were so cheap.

well I always go for brown shoes so i guess i'd go for brown boots too although black is more common. Because I tend to go for trainers etc to ride in the colour choices are not so set in stone. My ariats are the bluey/grey ones and I have some musto innovatives that are I guess black mainly althgh the cordoba bit is kinda greyish.

My leather boots are black as I think they look smart especially for shows etc. Brown boots are nice for more casual wear although I have to say I only have one pair of long boots and one pair of short boots so I stick to black

Im a bit of a boot freak and have loads, both brown and black, I think brown look nicer but black are better if you plan showing or dressage!

I prefer brown boots and have the very yummy Tuffa Suffolk ones but I also have a pair of the Mountain Horse Rimfrost Riders which are black (or mud coloured now).
