Poor Pete, I hope it is nothing too bad. I'm sure he will enjoy his holiday in the sunshine.

Keeping everything crossed for you Sol. It's a worrying time isn't it - a word of warning, do not trawl the interet looking for answers - you will scare the heebies out of yourself (I did anyway - Eddie went from having ringbone to pulled suspensory ligament to broken coffin bone.....) Hope the chiro can sort him out.

Im sure you havent done too much jumping sol. Theres plenty of horses who do far more and more strenuous jumping. I shouldnt think the reason is the jumping. hope he will be ok though, i think the worst thing is not knowing.

I've never heard of a horsey being lame in walk but sound in trot. How odd.

He is not tracking up with his right hind is a better way to describe it. In trot he is normal.

If his hind is 'dragging' a bit, his pelvis could be slightly misaligned so chiro should sort it. Poor you not being able to ride but worth it to get poor Pete right again.

Sounds as though it could be his stifle. May have just knocked it a bit rolling etc.

It is his weak area for sure. I am just giving him time to heal and keeping everything crossed.
