;D ;D ;D I was lucky enough to go cross country jumping today, no pics sadly but Pete and I had a ball. Logs drops sunken road, pheasant houses you name it we jumped it! He refused once a tyre jump, my fault entirely. He even did a couple of ditches! I am so proud of him and me! My YO took me thinking she would have to coax me over the smallest jumps and I don't know how but I just felt brave. I was happy jumping middle option fences. Her mare, normally quite a difficult ride was really happy to follow Superstar Pete and we gave her a lead over most of the fences Me helping her! So much adrenalin. I am completely exhausted but so happy. I truly have a wonderful honest brave and talented horse. I am so lucky.http://www.fair-oak.co.uk/

WOW - totally impressed at Pete giving leads - you obvioulsy have a x country star there. Pretty impressed by your gung ho attidute as well. Guess you will have to work on the show jumping now and you can go eventing. Bet it felt good giving your YO help - perhaps she will behave herself a bit better now!! I mean that about Pete been a x country star in the making - if he is that brave and sensible and forward the first time cross country, he must be a natural
