Did the evening ride last night, lovely and cool, boys very much up for it. They are unfortunately spending more time in their stable than winter. They are out from 8am til about 12pm and then YO gets them in 'cos it's to hot and fly infested. And that is it unless we ride. Consequently my friends lovely cob Barney is getting a little frustrated. Decided to rear and refuse to wear his fly mask yesterday. So out on our hack last night we thought we better let them have a little blast. We have one track through the woods which is quite sandy and soft and another one which isn't too hard yet and had a couple of fast canters. They loved it. And so did we. Sweaty but happy horses.

Sounds great Sol. I am heading out this afternoon for a couple of hours and am hoping that the tracks aren't like concrete. We have only had a little rain and I am not sure how much difference it has made. At least it os overcast and so a bit cooler today.
