GB, I feel for you. Pebbles my wee mare was 5 when I bought her, green as grass and very very cheeky...... When I sold her she was 13, nearly green as grass and still very cheeky. I persevered a bit while I owned her but for most of those years I was scared stiff of her, and didn't make the progress I should have done. Now at nearly 62 I look back feeling very resentful that I wasted nearly 8 years feeling scared, frustrated and totally useless. Pride got in the way you see and I would not accept for a long time that she was not for me.... The moral to this is don't waste too much time, if Seb isn't for you send him back because there will be your perfick horsey out there, trust me!! There is no shame in buying the wrong horse although I would say there is shame in SELLING the wrong one, so I would take Mel with you to this dealer if you do decide he isn't right for you. Mel will help you pick the right one... Maxi sums it up brilliantly, we do it for fun - good luck.

there are the exceptions though. When i had sam on loan u would never have thought that he was four! He was bombproof. never batted an eyelid at anything!
There is a lot of good advice being said. listen to this and your head not your heart.
